From 05.07. - 07.07. the Junior Ranger met again for a big camp.
The special highlight was the tame vulture Tshire, who visited the camp with the local bird expert Pete Hancock. Pete told the Junior Ranger a lot of exciting information about vultures, which are highly threatened. He also brought them a comic on this topic.
Furtheron the Junior Ranger also received the new bird booklet!
They will soon take these with them on excursions into nature.
This time the Mathiba Primary School kindly provided the premises for the camp.
As a further program item the tons of the school were painted to recycle garbage.
The transport of the many children to the camp was kindly supported by Letaka Safaris.
