The topics of child protection and children's rights are an integral part of our educational units for the Junior Rangers.
We want to support the participants of our projects in developing into self-confident and strong people who take responsibility for themselves and their environment. Knowing one's own rights is an important prerequisite for this.
Non-violent communication and actions towards children have only recently been enshrined in law in Botswana. Awareness of children's rights must be built up in society through all levels of society.
Our aim is to support this process.
Therefore, we offer professional workshops on child protection for our trainers.
Last week, our trainers participated in a one-day child protection workshop conducted by Theda Gräfin Knyphausen together with Katja Visser from our partner organisation Startup4Kids.
It is great to see that the new trainers are growing together into a strong team!
