As part of our project "Sustainable Nutrition for Children, Youth and Young Adults", the Junior Ranger trainers recently took part in a cooking workshop with Marc Baar from Marc's Eatery on the premises of our partner organisation FEYS.
In addition to information on the nutritional values and diverse benefits of the different types of vegetables and herbs grown in the coaches' and school gardens, the focus was also on how to prepare them properly.
Vegetables from the own cultivation were used for this. A complete success!
Uncomplicated delicious dishes were then cooked on the open fire and eaten afterwards. It was delicious!
The trainers were enthusiastic and happy to share their new knowledge with the Junior Rangers soon!
