From 16.02. - 18.02.2024, 10 Junior Rangers from Matlola and 10 Junior Rangers from Thito Primary School were in a mobile safari camp in the Moremi Game Reserve.
Together with local safari guides and our project coordinator Nami, they worked intensively on native plants, animal observation and tracking. It is also important that they learn from the professionals how to behave appropriately in the bush.
The children were thrilled! For them, it was the first time they had seen wild animals in the wild.
Rebekka Stutz, friend and supporter of the Knyphausen Foundation, accompanied the camp and took beautiful photos. Many thanks for that!
Our special thanks go to Okavango Expeditions, who provided the mobile safari camp including their guides, the kitchen team and the complete camping equipment.
We would also like to thank the Munich Children's Advisory Board of the children's aid organisation Children for a Better World e.V.
They made the participation of 10 Junior Rangers from Matlola Primary School possible.
We look forward to more camps for the Junior Rangers!
