The Junior Rangers planted fruit trees in the five gardens of the schools participating in the project "Sustainable Nutrition for Children, Youth and Young Adults".
The children learned from the trainers of the partner organisation FEYS how to plant the young trees correctly, what compost they need and what distance to keep from the next tree. The children and young people take great care of the school gardens and are proud of their first yields.
In the coming days and weeks, it is important to water the seedlings a lot, because the summer in Maun is hot and dry.
