We have great news!
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Dinaledi project: together with Startup4Kids, the Knyphausen Foundation has gained local supporters for a large-scale school project!
The safari providers Ker & Downey Botswana and Desert & Delta Safaris are providing long-term financial support to the newly founded association Re Jala Peo of Theda Gräfin Knyphausen and Katja Visser to implement the Junior Ranger and Aflatoun programs at five schools in Maun. This involves designing and implementing projects that include the extended target groups around the Junior Rangers. Workshops and further training on environmental protection and sustainability are also offered to teachers, parents and the neighborhood of the schools participating in the program. There are also regular environmental protection sessions and tree planting activities, joint planting and gardening in the school gardens and camps lasting several days.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Ker & Downey Botswana and Desert & Delta Safaris for their generous support in funding the many initiatives!
Together we want to create a greener future for children, youth and adults in Botswana!
